The EDF is aimed at all those professionals interested in acquiring specialized knowledge in the area of Finance, capable of establishing financial strategies in an economic environment, in such a way that they can take advantage of opportunities in the financial field, which allow achieving solid economic growth. and achieve business and institutional competitiveness.
The student who enters the specialty must have the ability to analyze information in an objective, critical and impartial way, proposing comprehensive solutions.
He must have a proactive attitude that allows him to apply knowledge in the business or institutional sector.
Ability to perform teamwork. Professional ethics, seeking personal improvement for the benefit of society.
Graduate Profile
The graduate of the EDF Program will be competent to:
Manage the investment and financing of working capital that allows them to generate healthy cash flows, for their use in the operation and the maximization of returns, as a competitive advantage for the entities .
Make strategic decisions, related to the fixed and portfolio operation in the financial markets.
Accurately use the methodology that allows formulating and evaluating investment projects, both internal and expansion or new creation.
Express ideas and action plans with clarity and precision, supporting their arguments with ideas derived from the analysis and discrimination of the available information.
Incorporate the use of technologies and software as tools that allow you to be more effective in your financial work.
Structure
The program lasts 1 year, divided into 2 semesters.
Each semester is made up of 4 subjects and the total number of credits for the program is 45 credits.
Classes are taught on both campuses, both in Tijuana and Mexicali, two days a week in person (the days may vary each semester) two subjects per day for two hours each. The hours are from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.
The minimum number of credits is 45, of which 30 must be for compulsory subjects and 15 for optional subjects.
