Academic Bodies

Academic Bodies are groups of faculty researchers who share interests in research and academic topics and engage in research activities within lines of generation and application of knowledge (LGAC). These bodies are registered with the Program for the Development of Teaching Professionals (PRODEP).

Due to the level of specialization they achieve collectively, PRODEP evaluates and assigns a degree of consolidation based on the progress and results obtained by the Academic Body. These levels are: In Formation, In Consolidation, and Consolidated, with Consolidated being the highest recognized level.

The FCA has nine academic bodies that address innovative LGACs in administrative areas. The consolidation levels are as follows: four academic bodies at the CONSOLIDATED level, three at the CONSOLIDATION level, and four at the FORMATION level.
